What dosage should I take?

It is recommended to start with a low dosage and of course not to exceed the daily recommended amount of 70mg/day in the UK..
When it comes to CBD dosage, there is no correct or optimal dosage. Some people have higher tolerance levels than others, and so what works for one individual, may not work for the next. Tolerance may vary according to body weight, your individual body chemistry, or age. Finding your ideal CBD dose is a personal process and requires some self-experimentation to decide what works for you in terms of how much CBD you should take and how often you should use it.

Remember, CBD is a supplement so it can take 2-4 weeks to notice a significant change so be consistent and patient.

How Much CBD to Take
CBD should be taken gradually and at a lower strength of 10mg per day. Depending on how you respond, you can consider increasing the measure as desired. We also recommend that you take a consistent (low) daily dose of CBD for at least a week to see if it works for you and how your body responds. Notably, dosage recommendations do not vary according to drug administration i.e. whether you ingest, spray, or rub CBD into your skin.

Safe Daily Dosage
In the UK, the FSA (Food Standards Agency) recommends no more than 70mg per day for healthy adults. The research into cannabidiol is still in its infancy, and so it is possible that this recommendation could change in the coming years. (Internationally, a daily dosage of up to 200mg of CBD oil is considered safe and acceptable.)

Can CBD get you high & is it possible to overdose?

Cannabis has 2 main cannabinoids; THC and CBD. THC is responsible for the high/euphoric feeling that people experience when using cannabis products. DR DREW CBD only contains CBD based cannabinoids and does not get you high and can actually counteract some of those euphoric effects. CBD does interact with receptors in your nervous system and you may well have a sense of wellbeing after taking it - as many users of CBD report this effect.

Trials on CBD, show it to be pretty safe. However, it is important to not exceed the daily dose limit of 70mg in the UK and it is recommended to seek medical advice if you are taking other medication and it is not recommended to take CBD if you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding.

Everybody has a different tolerance linked to weight and physiology; it is recommended to start slowly with CBD and only increase dosage very slowly over time when your body becomes used to it.

Will CBD cure my illness?

DR DREW's CBD products are promoted for general health and wellbeing. They are not sold to treat, cure or prevent illnesses. As always, you should consult with your doctor before trying any new supplements or medications to ensure that you are safe to do so.
